Joanne Koay Jing Qian
Joanne is a litigator with courtroom advocacy experience across all levels of the Malaysian courts, having conducted trials, hearings and appeals before the Magistrates' Court, Sessions Court and Court of Appeal, and assisted in Federal Court proceedings.
Before founding the firm, she practised with established litigation firms including Messrs Hong Chew King & Co. and Messrs Armiy Rais. She acted in one of Malaysia's leading moneylending cases, Triple Zest Trading & Suppliers & Ors v Applied Business Technologies Sdn Bhd, which proceeded to the Federal Court.
Composed under pressure and persuasive on her feet, she is known for securing her clients' best interests — and for connecting with clients in the language they are most comfortable speaking.
